What makes these resistors even more remarkable is their ability to withstand adverse conditions, including corrosion, vibration, impact, and high temperatures of up to 700°C. The choice of the appropriate shielding material depends on factors such as the required power, maximum permissible specific load in W/cm2, available dimensions, tube diameter and length, the medium to be heated, and operating temperature.

To ensure optimal performance, these resistors use electrofused magnesium oxide (MgO) as an insulator, providing efficient thermal conduction, electrical rigidity, and adequate insulation. The resistive element in the form of a spiral is composed of nickel-chromium, ensuring excellent energy efficiency.

Hermatic sealing against environmental moisture is achieved through the use of high-quality resins and silicones. Furthermore, a ceramic insulator is incorporated to guarantee dielectric insulation between the connection and the shielding, confirming the reliability and safety of these electrically insulated resistors in a wide range of applications.
